Handbook on the Use of Medications for Parkinson’s Disease

Chulalongkorn Center of Excellence for Parkinson’s Disease and Related Disorders, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Thai Red Cross Society, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of experts and with support from the Thai Food and Drug Administration (FDA), has developed a comprehensive guideline for the rational use of medications listed in the National List of Essential Medicines titled "Thai national formulary 2019 drugs used in parkinson's disease".
This initiative aims to address the issue of irrational drug prescribing, which contributes to the rising cost of medications and the overall healthcare expenses in Thailand.
The guideline is a valuable resource for healthcare professionals. It supports maintaining a good quality of life for individuals with Parkinson’s disease, while helping to reduce or delay complications and future increases in healthcare costs.
